Position Details:
Role : VMware vRealize Orchestrator (vRO) SME
Location:Seattle, WA
Duration:3 months with possible extension
Job responsibilities:
Skills needed/Background:
1. Install and build-out vRealize Orchestrator as an orchestration and operations tool
2. Gather workflow requirements for next phase build-outs
3. Create basic standardized security policy guidelines for VMWare tool access
4. Install, modify, and certify modules for various IT Infrastructure components and toolsets for the client; create with assumption ServiceNow will be user front-end to trigger/pass parameters to automation and orchestration scripting tool
Must haves:
1)Develop framework and guidelines for VMWare integration with PSE toolsets
a. Owned Toolsets
i. Puppet –> vRO, integrate with VMWare tools
ii. vROPs --> vRO, vCenter
iii. Terraform –> vRO, vCenter
2)Knowledge building out a Windows and Linux environment in VMware private cloud and public cloud leveraging available blueprints
3)Background in creating procedure for a migration path from one public cloud to another
4)Knowledge in discussing path to achieve SAP full stack build-out in VMware or public cloud
5)Investigate requirements for long-term and future A&O capabilities
a. CI/CD pipeline build outs for IaC Updates on premise and in public cloud
b. Orchestration framework for connecting multiple automation components
c. SAP Cluster Build
d. Database backup and migration framework automation
