Job Title : Golang Backend Developer

Location : Dallas, TX (Currently Remote)

Position Type : Contract

Job Details:

I am looking for a candidate with strong backend development skills who also has a moderate understanding of web development.

8+ years of Java/.NET experience developing REST API’s (not just connecting to an existing API but writing one from scratch)
Experience with GO lang is preferred or willingness to learn GO
Understanding of Web Development. 1-2 Years of Angular experience is preferred.
Experience working with DevOps tools like Jenkins/Mesos preferred but Azure Devops, Circle CI or Team City is also okay.
At least 2-3 years of experience working in Agile Team Environment.
Working experience with any RDS. Ability to design database tables, write complex queries & stored procedures. Knowledge of Indexes and query optimization techniques
Knowledge of Cloud architecture Azure or AWS (Preferred)
Experience writing Unit Tests during code development.
Expected to perform Code reviews and mentor Junior team members as needed.
Expected to write Technical Documentation
Overall someone with a positive team spirit and aptitude for learning
