Job Title: Mainframe IMS Database Administrator - Local to Texas Location: Austin, TX Duration: 6 – 18 Months Contract Qualifications · Experience with z/OS Systems administration · Experience in basic z/OS utilities: TSO, SYSVIEW and/or ISPF, Basic IBM utilities IDCAMS, IEFBR14 · Experience with mainframe IMS database administration; Experience with DBRC · Experience with Batch and CICS Cobol, IMS programming and problem resolution; Experience developing and troubleshooting complex JCL · Experience with JCL, CICS, VSAM, and TSO; Working knowledge of Top Secret setup, administration, and reporting · Experience writing, analyzing, and debugging REXX programs in a z/OS environment; Experience maintaining mainframe printer assignments, including working knowledge of IPPRINTWAY Preferred · 10+ years’ experience with z/OS Systems administration · 10+ years’ experience in basic z/OS utilities: TSO, SYSVIEW and/or ISPF, Basic IBM utilities IDCAMS, IEFBR14 · 8+ years’ experience with mainframe IMS database administration · Working knowledge of BPXBATCH processing for remote executes • Working knowledge of batch SFTP and FTPS processing · Working knowledge of Informatica Power Exchange software using mainframe datasets (IMS and VSAM) as either a source or target for change data capture · Experience with logically related databases Thanks & Regards Rocky Thomas | M9 Consulting, Inc Email: rocky@m9consulting.com |
