Position: Network Architect (AWS Cloud)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6+ months
VISA; Any Visa (Except H1B)

SUMMARY:
The Network Architect is responsible for working with a project to onboard new carrier and customer connections that will connect into and through AWS, GCP, and data centers globally.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Heavily involved in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of new and existing network infrastructure
• Build documentation for standard infrastructure management processes and procedures, including change management, VPN access, project task delivery, failover procedures, disaster recovery plans, etc.
• Work closely with the global network and systems engineering teams to deploy and support new hosted network products and services.
• Integrate regional operator and network performance monitoring systems
• Follow and support security strategies and best practices for safeguarding infrastructure resources
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Demonstrated experience with the functions above
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing network routing, switching, firewall and IPSec VPN connectivity.
• Familiarity with architecture required to implement and support mission critical cellular network connectivity and associated services such as RADIUS and DNS
• Hands on Cisco network support and monitoring experience
• Hands on AWS network design experience using Terraform
