Job Description
Key Responsibilities
.Security Integration: Integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipcline and across all stages of the software
development lifecycle.
. Automation: Develop, maintain, and enhance automated security testing tools and processes.
. Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
Implement and manage vulnerability remediation processes.
. Monitoring and Response: Set up and maintain security monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems.
. Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to design secure architectures and troubleshoot issues.
. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including policies, procedures, and security incident reports.
.Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, Proactively identify areas for improvement in security practices and tooling.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
. Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in DevOps, security engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
. Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools (c.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
. Expertise in security tools and technologies (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security features.
. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code (laC) tools (e.g., Terraform,
Ansible).
. Knowledge of secure coding practices and security frameworks (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
-Soft Skills:
o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Abilitv to work in a fast-naced. agile environment.
