Role: Snowflake Admin
Location: Chicago (Day-1 must report in office), 3 days to work from Chicago office/ week.
Job Description:
10+ years of experience in IT and 8+ years of experience in DBA/Data Admin related projects.
Minimum of 4+ years of experience Snowflake Admin.
Creating and managing Snowflake users through SQL or the web interface
Changing login credentials and defaults for users.
Managing compute and storage
Handling load operations and performance
Implementing data governance, including column-level data security using secure views
Managing multiple accounts across the organization
Implement advanced techniques for Snowflake performance-tuning methodologies.
Describe data governance in Snowflake, including column-level data security using secure views and
dynamic data masking features
Review Snowflake best practices & considerations for managing load operations and performance.
Design and develop secure access to objects in Snowflake with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Recommend the Snowflake best practices for management, monitoring, and optimization.
Use data replication for data sharing across accounts and for failover scenarios.
A highly effective communicator, both orally and in writing
Primary Skills: Snowflake Admin
Secondary skills: SQL, ETL, Azure
