Focus on converting requirements into the architecture and design based on design patterns from previous engagements, published reference architectures and architecture patterns, and on guidance from enterprise architecture. Should be able to balance architectural concerns of the projects with the concerns of the enterprise by creating composite architecture that is scalable, reliable, available and manageable.
