Job Title: Certified Cisco Network Engineer
Work Location: San Francisco, California

Job Details:
· Minimum years of experience: 8+ years
· Seeking a skilled, dedicated and proactive Network Engineer with strong interpersonal and Technical skills to operate a large-scale LAN/WAN network infrastructure deployed globally.
· Support and maintain hardware and software infrastructure according to best practices. Platforms includes routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers etc.
· Diagnose problems and solve issues, often under time constraints.
· Assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration and security best practices
· Provide network documentation
· Monitor network usage, anticipate problems and suggest solutions
· Work in an agile environment.
Must Have Skills:
· CISCO
· NEXUS
· Meraki
Nice to have skills:
· LAN wireless issues, WLC, IOS upgrade on routers and switches like RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS and BGP
Detailed Job Description:
· Primary Skills: Cisco, Switching, Wireless
· Secondary Skills: Routing.
· Hands on knowledge of Monitoring and troubleshooting of LANWAN.
· Good Understanding of cisco routers and switches such as 2800, 2900, 3750, 3900, 6500, 4500, Nexus platforms.
· Understanding of VSS, VPC, Stack switching, DC technologies etc.
· Experience in troubleshooting LAN technologies like VTP, STP, Port channel ACL, Port security, SAPN configurations etc.
· Experience in Wireless technologies (WLC, Meraki)
· Understanding and troubleshooting LAN wireless issues, WLC, IOS upgrade on routers and switches, replacing devices in network.
· Good understanding of supervisor redundancy concepts, high availability etc. in switches
· Understanding in configuring and troubleshooting Routing protocols like RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS and BGP etc.
· Understanding of Gateway redundancy protocols like HSRP, VRRP, GLBP
· Troubleshoot, and escalate production problems affecting network infrastructure
· Able to handle multiple, complex, short term projects and incidents simultaneously.
· Comfortable documenting and explaining network topologies and Diagram explain and plan for future upgrades. Primary Skills Cisco, Switching, Wireless Secondary Skills Routing.
