Primary Skills: WAN and LAN technologies
Secondary Skills: Routing.
• Network design experience LAN and WAN
• Advanced understanding and experience with Network Infrastructure and Topology
o Understanding of Cloud concept (Azure and OCI).
o WAN, LAN, Wireless, WAN Acceleration, etc.
o Understanding of common protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP etc.) their functions, port nos., acronyms etc.
o Understanding of Switching - VLANs, 802.1q Turning, 802.1d Spanning Tree Protocol STP, Layer 3 VLANs, Access Lists, Port Security, Port Mirroring, Ether channel, First Hop Redundancy Protocols.
o Hands on experience planning, designing, implementing, configuration and troubleshooting experience on Cisco and juniper network devices (Nexus 9K,7K,5K, MX, EX etc.
• Responsible for ensuring that the network is maintained to provide reliable services, including working with service providers to ensure that the environment is stable and highly available.
Provides technical support and coordination to service providers in relation to configuration management for communications hardware.
• Responsible for ensuring that infrastructure documentation is accurate and maintained on a timely basis.
Work closely with the Infrastructure Services Team and to provide support and backup where necessary
• Tracks related IT issues, coordinates resolution and assists in driving issues to closure.
