Title: UI Developer
New York, United States | Lake Mary, Florida, United States | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States
Goal: Deliver enterprise-grade React user interfaces that directly support Operational Risk and GRC workflows with high usability, accuracy, and regulatory alignment.
THE MOST RELEVANT SKILL
Operational Risk and GRC domain expertise — ability to design UI solutions that correctly reflect RCSA, Issues, Controls, and KRI processes, terminology, and user decision-making in regulated financial environments.
SCOPE
Develop and maintain React-based user interfaces for Operational Risk and GRC workflows.
Build role-based UI views for RCSA, Issues & Action Management, Controls, and KRIs.
Integrate front-end components with workflow orchestration (Camunda) and backend data services (Snowflake).
Translate Operational Risk and compliance requirements into intuitive, low-error UI designs.
Ensure enterprise standards for usability, performance, and accessibility are met.
Collaborate closely with Risk, Controls, and Compliance SMEs throughout delivery.
MUST-HAVES (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
Operational Risk & GRC expertise — hands-on experience working with RCSA, Issues Management, Controls, and KRIs in enterprise platforms.
React development — strong hands-on experience building and maintaining production React applications (version not specified).
Enterprise UI engineering — experience delivering scalable, maintainable front ends for complex, role-driven business workflows.
Risk workflow modeling — ability to reflect risk lifecycle states, approvals, attestations, and ownership in UI behavior.
Workflow integration — experience integrating UIs with workflow engines such as Camunda, including task states and transitions.
Data integration — experience consuming and presenting data from backend services and platforms such as Snowflake.
Regulated environment delivery — proven ability to work within financial services or similarly regulated contexts.
Usability and accessibility — applies accessibility standards and performance best practices for enterprise users.
Requirements translation — works directly with Risk and Compliance SMEs to convert regulatory requirements into UI designs.
GOOD-TO-HAVES (NEGOTIABLE)
Prior GRC platform exposure — familiarity with commercial or custom GRC tools accelerates onboarding.
Dashboard and data visualization — experience building analytical views for risk and compliance metrics.
Front-end testing — experience with UI testing frameworks for regression and reliability.
