Fullstack Engineering Lead

10+yrs

• Drive the design and development of front-end applications using modern Javascript-based frameworks.
• Proficient with either React and/or Angular. Proficient with front-end languages such as Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experienced with building RESTful APIs using either Java or Javascript (using Node.js and Express).
• Develop backend APIs along with middleware components to bring front-end and backend together.
• Ensuring that unit tests and code quality meet minimum established standards.
• Ensure that applications are optimized for both responsiveness and performance.
• Ensure that front-end applications offer consistent behavior across all browsers and devices.
• Collaborate closely with both business and technical teams to ensure that both the business and technical requirements are met. Mentor junior developers. Perform technical code reviews to ensure quality implementations.
• Well versed with Agile development practices, tools and processes
• Familiarity with data storage technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Cassandra.
• Familiarity with event/messaging- based technologies such as Kafka, IBM MQ, or Rabbit MQ.
• Familiarity with twelve-factor app principles and ensure that both front-end and backend applications adhere to these principles.
• Familiarity with the automated functional testing frameworks such as Selenium, Protractor or Cucumber.

 

Engineer:

8+yrs

• Drive and Develop RESTful APIs using Java and/or Javascript.
• Ensure that APIs adhere to established standards for resilience, security and performance.
• Experienced with Spring Frameworks, Spring Boot, and/or Spring Cloud.
• For Javascript, familiarity with both Node.js and Express is required.
• Familiarity with data storage technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Cassandra.
• Ensuring that unit tests and code quality meet minimum established standards.
• Collaborate closely with both business and technical teams to ensure that both the business and technical requirements are met.
• Familiarity with event/messaging- based technologies such as Kafka, IBM MQ, or Rabbit MQ.
• Familiarity with twelve-factor app principles.
• Familiarity with the automated functional testing frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Well versed with Agile development practices, tools and processes.
