Detailed Job Description
* At least 6+ years of IT Experience with solid understanding of UNIX-based operating system, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x and 7.x, Suse, CentOS and Ubuntu
* Experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes
* Experience in developing Enterprise IT Infrastructure solutions involving multiple technology areas such as Compute, Storage, Backup, Network and Private cloud setup.
* Write technical documentation like HLD and LLD or Migration approach as needed
* Resolve technical issues during Server build and migration, perform root cause analysis and address complex and critical migration issues from architecture and server environment perspective
* Ability to analyze and Independent problem-solving skills with effective time management
* Should have proven track record of driving design and implementation of at least 1/2 large scale designs for Unix environment involving multiple towers or heterogeneous technologies.
* Should have proven track record of managing datacenter migration plan, design and execution projects.
* Should have extensive hands on experience on configuring and troubleshooting of AIX/Linux platform
* Works on complex problems / projects where analysis of situations or application data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
* Works on assignments that are complex in nature and require judgement, initiative, and technical/specialized knowledge to resolve problems and/or develop recommended solutions.
* Interact and Co-ordinate with application owners, operations teams - application, infrastructure, network and security, change and release management team and external vendors
