Job Description:
· Strong technical skills in SQL, relational databases (Oracle required) and big data techniques.
Knowledge of Cloud Computing preferred (Google Cloud Platform)
· Programming language and operating system expertise, UNIX (strongly preferred),
Python (strongly preferred), Java, C++, Perl or XML (nice to have)
· Experience writing complex queries with efficiencies in optimization
· Experience with integration of complex data sets and able to derive conclusions
· Expertise in design and development of data warehouses, BI solutions and other
data systems
· Experience in various modelling techniques such as process, data and object
modelling
· Experience developing and deploying applications in a multi-tier environment
· Experience in data analysis methodologies and processes and their linkages to
other processes in the software development lifecycle
· Experience in full project lifecycle including all stages of design, development and implementation of custom applications as well as the deployment of packaged
solutions
· Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multi-task and work in a
very fast paced environment
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
· Experience in various data requirements elicitation, analysis and validation
techniques
· Experience in JIRA and/or Scrum technologies is a plus
· Programming proficiency with analytical platform software and BI systems expertise,
preferably Microstrategy, Tableau, Alteryx is a plus
· Experience in leading business users, and data analysts in data requirements
gathering exercises is a plus
