Job Title: SAP BASIS CONSULTANT

Location: Plano, Texas

Position type: Contract

Contract duration: 6 months+ Extension possible

Minimum years of experience: 8+

Primary Skills:

Basis Administration

Oracle database administration

Secondary Skills:

Windows operating system

Solution Manager

SAP SLO/LT knowledge

Role & Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility will be to install and configure SAP systems on Windows operating system with oracle database, support SAP systems, Homogeneous system copies, System refresh activities , client administration.

• Hands on experience with Oracle database (19) and Windows Operating system administration knowledge.

• Hands on experience in SAP BASIS tasks such as Architecture design, Sizing, Installation, Performance analysis and fine tuning, High-Availability & Disaster Recovery setup, Backup & Recovery, OS/DB Migration and System refresh.

• Hands on experience in Oracle database administration including Architecture, Installation , Performance tuning and troubleshooting.

• Well versed with System copy and system refresh.

• Good database and SAP Troubleshooting skills

• Well versed with the entire business suite of SAP

• In-depth working experience of technology stack for SAP Enterprise Core Component (ECC), Oracle database.

• Working experience with tools like SLO and LT is an added advantage

• Basic knowledge on solution manager technical monitoring setup

• Analytical and Communication skills

• Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all SAP Basis changes

• Experience in implementation as well as support projects
