Position: Java developer with GCP

Location: Middletown, CT

Duration: 6+ Months

Visa: USC,GC,

We have this Java CTH role at CVS

We need someone who has Azure or GCP experience at least 3 yrs

This role they will be supporting 800 apps that are in the Azure cloud mostly. Other developers have coded the apps but this person will be doing enhancements, fixes, new migrations to the apps in the cloud.

They need to have DevOps experience with containers, Kubernetes, open shift

They HAVE to go in Hartford office 1x per week. This is not negotiable so local or people within 1-2 hour driving that are fully willing to commit to that will be considered!

Location: : 151 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, CT 06103 – 3x / wk onsite is preferred, may have flex for the right candidate down to 1x per week

Please note, this is currently an onsite ask by the team/local leadership ; CVS Health could implement an onsite mandate at any time so let's set expectations of 3x / wk if possible

Why Open: Handful of new intake requests coming into the Aetna Cloud Center of Excellence for new application migrations (Healthcare Business applications)

Team/Role: Will be joining the cloud intake application development team at CVS health. This role will support application owners moving from on-prem to Azure, Cloud Platform Migrations, troubleshooting, and production support. Teams' developers almost act and think like engineers in a sense, they deal with all technologies tied to delivery high level (including infrastructure technologies).

Duration: 6+ month CTH -- must be able to convert without sponsorship
