Position: Data Engineer
Location: SFO
Duration: 6 Months
Description:
Primary: GCP, Cassandra, RDBMS, Cache, Graph
Secondary: Kubernetes
Experience in service management in Google Cloud Platform and exposure to GCP, AWS or Azure.
• -3+ years of solid Cassandra database management experience.
• Create physical data models with best practices for future growth and performance optimization.
• -In-depth knowledge of distributed NoSQL database and Cassandra Architecture.
• -Experience in configuring the deployment parameters, consistency, replication factor, performance tuning and database monitoring.
• -Experience in setting up and managing Cassandra Cluster.
• -Experience in automation of database setup and scaling.
• -Experience with Cassandra to Cache/Search sync mechanism.
• -Experience in setting up distributed RDBMS in cloud.
• -Experience in Spark.
• -Nice to have implementation experience with Graph and AI/ML solutions using Python.
• -Perform IT resiliency experiments by injecting failures into distributed system to improve the systems resiliency
