Role
This position is ideal for a multi-faceted individual who is interested in working
with a portfolio of cutting edge tools, multiple IT organizations and business customers.
In this role, you will work closely with multiple organizations (Business Customers,
Product Owners, GDI&A, IT) to convert business goals into product requirements and
prioritize them as user stories on the product backlog.
You will act as the single point of contact for Informatica Secure@Source and its
interfaces with other tools used by GDI&A.
Position Description
POSITION DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT: Act as the single point of contact for assigned tools.
REQUIREMENTS: Participate in and/or lead development of requirements, user
story development, use cases, and test cases.
DESIGN: Work with Architects and Technical Anchors on solution design.
ACQUIRE, INSTALL, CONFIGURE: Work with IT Operations (ITO), IT Engineering
and GDI & A Business Customers to install, configure, test and maintain various
Informatica Tools.
INCIDENT, PROBLEM AND CHANGE/SERVICE REQUESTS: Participate and/or
lead incident, problem, change and service request related activities.
Includes incident, problem, change, and service request management.
Includes root cause analysis (RCA).
Includes participation in standup operations meetings.
Includes proactive problem management / defect prevention activities.
Required:
* Experience in installing, configuring or supporting following Informatica
components in the Linux environment and running Informatica jobs on
Hortonworks HDP platform.
o S@S (Secure@Source)
o EDC (Enterprise Data Catalog)
* Experience in automating log ingestion into Secure@Source for user activity
monitoring
* Experience with Windows and SuSE Linux operating systems in writing scripts
and automating tasks
* Experience in configuring Informatica components to work with Hortonworks
Hadoop Environment
o Understanding of Hortorworks HDP versions 2.6.x, 3.1.x and beyond
* Strong communication skills to effectively work with multiple teams
* Experience delivering, supporting and testing complex infrastructure solutions
Must Have Skills???
