Yes, Client wants to see ZeOmega / JIVA implementation / BA work in the resume Job Summary: The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for defining and documenting business systems requirements and ensuring technology solutions support and enhance business operations. The BSA works closely with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements to ensure implementation meets the business requirements. This person is also responsible for working with other key IT staff to identify and document requirements in a manner that is accurate and meaningful to business and IT stakeholders as well as providing support when necessary. The BSA is the primary liaison between the business and technical staff. Key Functions/Responsibilities: - Leads workgroup sessions, applies business experience and analytical skills to define recommendations and improve processes.
- Works with business users to document and define business requirements, perform analysis, and provide recommendations for new systems or improvements and redesign of current systems.
- Documents functional specifications for system solutions and enhancements to existing systems to ensure business needs are met.
- Analyzes information gathered in workgroup sessions to determine interdepartmental impacts and makes recommendations when required.
- Evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, and transforms high level information into detailed requirements.
- Documents process flows including both current and future state.
- Performs gap analysis.
- Participates in all stages of the systems development life cycle.
- Responsible for relationship management related to IT project and enhancements with assigned business areas.
- Identifies and makes recommendations for intradepartmental process improvements.
- Works with internal vendor managers as well as external vendors to define technical requirements.
- Leads, mentors, and coaches more junior Business Systems Analysts.
- The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Using care management knowledge, experience with ZeOmega's Jiva platform paired with the technical expertise of the care management platform's software configuration,
- automation techniques and implementation, drive the project forward by assisting in providing an implementation, design and coding approach to solution to the complex requirements of the Health Plans
- Using prior optimizing algorithm knowledge, build and configure the Realtime, near-Realtime and batched automation processes using sentinel rules to reduce the turnaround times within the CM/UM/Appeals and Grievance Processes of Health Plans
- Analyze clinical requirements and convert them to a workable solution using expertise, previous experience in code value configuration, Assessment configuration and knowledge of sentinel rules engine
- Ensure the configurations are done with a focus on automation to minimize user errors, enhance patientcare, increase accuracy of clinical and patient data
- Manages and analyze interface data for Auths, claims, member information, interface etc.
- Performs Data Mapping for various APIs like FACETS Claims import, auth export, Member Eligibility files, interfaces and many more interface APIs.
- Conducts process re-engineering and workflow sessions, documenting them using Visio and/or user stories while providing insights on system dependencies, providing automation ideas throughout the business processes, using the product knowledge while avoiding the need to customize new solutions
- 10+ years progressively responsible business and information systems experience.
- Experience in managed healthcare or insurance operations.
- Experience with relational data base concepts, as well as experience testing and implementing third party applications and tools.
- Relationship management experience.
