Main liaison to business functional areas - Partnering with business stakeholders, understanding their needs, prioritizing efforts, recommending changes I innovations, serving as the Subject Matter Expert for their area of expertise. System Design -  Documenting  requirements  and developing  solutions using standard  or custom  SAP functionality. Recommending alternatives when multiple options are available. Developing Solutions - Performing SAP System Configuration, writing functional requirements for custom development, performing appropriate system tests (Unit Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing), writing system/user documentation, training end users on functionality. Production Support - Troubleshooting system issues, analyzing processes, recommending course of action.   Required Skills: In depth functional and configuration expertise in SAP MM(Materials Management) module and WM (Warehouse Management) module skills are required. Experience in SAP QM module (Quality Management) is preferable but not mandatory. Analytical skills must include the ability to quickly identify problems, gather relevant information, determine the root causes, and make recommendations regarding solutions. Proactive, self-starter who sets high standards for self and co-workers. Strong organizational skills - ability to manage multiple competing tasks and adapt quickly to changes. Strong APO resource splitting time between Demand Planning, and Supply / Inventory Planning.   SAP BPC Senior Consultant Location: Santa Clara, CA Duration: 6+ Months Visa: NO H1b Rate: DOE client: CenturyLink    Details - Description:   Functional Analyst - Business Planning • Provides support/guidance to the business, product and delivery teams during project execution (analysis, design, configuration, development and testing) for financial accounting processes and solutions. • Defines technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determine technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent systems design. • Partners with business analysts, systems analysts and engineers to define and review requirements. • Delivers solutions with business users and delivery resources to analyze, design, recommend, plan, develop and implement solutions to meet strategic, usability, performance, reliability, control, and security requirements. • Provides cost–efficient, high quality, client–focused solutions, according to established policies, procedures, and processes. • Creates, maintains, reviews and gives guidance on internal documentation for architected solutions • Contributes to the implementation of innovative project solutions through development and/or configuration activities. • Performs other job–related duties as assigned.   Must Have: • Functional analyst with 3-5 years BPC implementation experience including 2-3 full life cycle projects.
