What you can expect.
As a UX/UI Designer on the data solutions design team, you will be part of a multi-discipline team made up of UX/UI Designers (Think Design) and client-side business leaders and product managers, data solutions architects and developers who collaborate on:
· Brainstorming sessions
· Defining the business problem(s)
· Defining the data to be represented
· Defining the dimensions required to represent the data
· Defining the structures of the data
· Defining the interaction required from the data visualization
· Building wireframes and clickable prototypes that bring the data to life and provide key insights for business objectives
What are your tools.
· Adobe Suite
· Invision
· Tableau or any other BI tool would be an added bonus to this role
What you bring.
· You have 5+ years experience working as a UX/UI Designer with demonstrable fundamentals in layout, graphic and composition.
· You have a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive or Behavioral Science, Interaction Design, Computer Science, Product Design or related major preferred.
· You love picking a problem apart and have a solid grasp of UX design methodologies to problem solve.
· You have demonstrated experience with rapid, iterative design and development processes.
· You quickly grasp complex concepts involving data into clear and engaging visual stories.
· You effectively communicate your thoughts and ideas to peers and other non-designer roles.
· You understand and are able to articulate design best practices.
· You're creative, analytical and empathetic.
