• Hands-on ability to write custom collectors/adapters with Python, Java or other lightweight programming languages.
• Configure alerts, deduplication, correlation & aggregation rules.
• Integration with ITSM tools for Incident Management
• Implementation experience in generating CI Topology map & updating CMDB leveraging discovery process.
• Some key skills required for monitoring include knowledge of monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, and Prometheus, an understanding of network protocols and monitoring protocols such as SNMP, TCP, UDP, and API with SQL and NoSQL database knowledge.
Observability:
• Experience with distributed systems, knowledge of telemetry (a.k.a OpenTelemetry) and logging technologies such as Fluentd and Logstash, and familiarity with distributed tracing tools such as Open Tracing and Jaeger.
AIOps:
• Experience in building data pipelines with machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning, and knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods.
• Implementation of Closed Loop operations with recommendation & predictive analytics.
Additionally
• Knowledge of Industry frameworks Redfish, IPMI, SMI-S, NETCONF, RESTCONF will be beneficial.,
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible and strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
