A quick brief of the Job: 

Cloud Storage:

Required Skill – Nasuni, NetApp

Optional Skill – EMC

Should have enough hands on in Storage Optimization, Capacity management and Fine tuning. (Only storage backup is not sufficient for this role)

Primary Skill (Technical Skill) NAS, DFS

Secondary Skill (Optional but good to have) Nasuni, NetApp on Azure

Experience Level Overall 5+ Years of experience in IT and minimum 2-3 years in Azure/GCP public cloud

Role & Responsibilities 1. Respond and take actions to incidents and requests regarding storage

2. Perform storage related activities based on playbooks defined by application engineering teams

3. Take appropriate actions, as per playbooks, for storage related events triggered by the monitoring systems for application and its respective storage solutions

4. Perform routine maintenance tasks on storage

5. Verify backups are successfully run for storage solutions

6. Suggest and/or write playbooks as needed for continuous

7. Schedule and run automated backup/restore jobs, integrated system monitoring and automated resources patching.

Skills Requirement

Technical skills • Enterprise Storage exposure, specifically NAS (Advanced)

• DFS design and configuration (Advanced)

• AD configuration in relation to DFS (Basic)

• GPO configuration in relation to DFS (Basic)

• Familiar with Google and Azure cloud interfaces

• Knowledge regarding Nasuni, NetApp ANF and/or ZFS

Behavioral Skills • Accountable for all cloud related admins tasks i.e. design, build, incidents, service request, problem records and changes.

• Customer centric & collaborative approach in professional life.

• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
