Client: Infosys Job Title: Ms SQL Server Database L3 Administrator Location: Farmington, Connecticut (hybrid 3day onsite, 2 day WFO) Position type: Contract Duration: 12 months+ extension possible JD: Required version 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2019. OS Windows server 2012, 2016, 2019. Installation, configuration, and maintenance of MS SQL Server instances. DB Upgrades & Patching . Monitor database performance and take proactive steps to optimize performance. Implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions are effectively implemented. Configure and maintain database servers and processes. Monitor system's health and performance Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security. HA, Replication, Clustering and Mirroring. Analyse, solve, and correct issues in real time. Provide suggestions for solutions. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes. Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement. Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems. Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours. Work on issues that couldn’t be resolved by L2 team. Manage L2 and L1 teams.
