Client: Infosys Job Title: Technical Architect/lead | Oracle CC&B Location: San Ramon, California (remote) Position type: Contract Duration: 6 months+ extension possible Responsibilities: We are looking for a candidate with a strong utility domain background in playing a Technical Architect lead role in to make/execute Data Archival and Purging decisions for Oracle CC&B database. The Candidate will need to have hands on experience CC&B product with in-depth knowledge of Data Model for Oracle CC&B/C2M and strong understanding of Entity Relationship and Functional/Business association of it. S/he should have experience in meter to cash functionality for determining what is/what if. The typical responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following: • Should be very proficient with Oracle CC&B application functionality and data model • Should be able to conduct CC&B data analysis for determining the retention, purge, archival need. • Should be able to identify and perform data dependency activities as part of the archival/purging. • Should be familiar with table partitioning, index, performance tuning. • Should be proficient in using Oracle Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) feature of CC&B • Should be able to plan the data archival and purging strategy, deployment activities and lead it. • Should be able to drive data specific discussions and decisions with customer CC&B application teams. • Exposure to Oracle Utility Analytics and C2M Products is preferable. • The candidate must be a team player and is also expected to help the project team with any functional issues that may arise during the project. Skills Required: • 8-12 years of total IT industry experience, with at least 3 years in CC&B application. • Proficient with Oracle CC&B application, data model and key functionalities of CC&B. • Experience with purge/archival of large databases is preferable. • Good interpersonal communications and analytical ability • Strong soft skills required. • Ready to travel to client locations as needed.
