Title: Database Admin

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid Onsite (3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Fri) required to be onsite)).

Duration: 12+ Months


Job Description:

  • Database experience
  • Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL - (or similar)
  • Experience with Relational Database Administration - (SQL Server or Oracle, for example)
  • Experience in database design, analysis and performance tuning
  • Experience in database structures, data analysis, performance tuning
  • Experience designing enterprise applications and/or services
  • Experience creating technical and functional design documentation
  • Experience within software development Life Cycle using Agile methodology – (Scrum, for example)
  • Experience with multi-tier system/application development – (SOA, Microservices, 3-Tier applications, for example)
  • Experience with large volume databases, high availability, and disaster recovery infrastructure
  • Experience with Azure
  • Ability to Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Azure SQL
  • Experience in DevOps technology including CI/CD pipeline and build and deployment tools such as Git
  • Experience in Java/J2EE Enterprise Development
  • Azure certification is preferred
  • DBA Associate certifications are preferred
