Here is the Job Description once again any help will be greatly appreciated.   We have a contractor assignment for an IT Systems Engineer Lead with experience in Cloud (container technologies). Our client’s Cloud technologies are focused on creating infrastructure solutions that empower the business to execute initiatives at improved speed and quality over conventional approaches. This assignment will have a heavy customer-centric focus, including more outward business-facing interactions than traditional back-office datacenter/technology positions. Ideal candidates must possess excellent verbal and written skills and consistently demonstrate the aptitude and passion to learn new skills. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively with teammates and peers in local and remote locations. In this assignment, you will: • Work with the Cloud Computing subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and manage the cloud technologies environments at Progressive  • Assist in evaluating, designing, configuring and implementing software components within assigned technology areas or projects • Perform research and development efforts pertaining to development of new features and capabilities • Continue to increase our usage of automation across our IaaS/PaaS cloud environments • Other responsibilities include serving as a technical point of escalation for the cloud technology areas, coordinating work with engineering and operational staff to optimize existing technologies in our environment, providing feedback to improve workgroup effectiveness and ensuring that the tools and processes are in place to manage performance, capacity, availability, and quality Technical Skills Required:  • Strong working knowledge of (Docker) container technologies and application platform as a server (aPaaS) • Experience with container orchestration utilizing tools such as Kubernetes, OpenShift or Docker Enterprise • Exposure to CI/CD tool chains such as Jenkins, Ansible, GIT, Maven/Gradle is highly desired. • Experience deploying container environments in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and/or OpenStack. • Scripting and general software development knowledge - Linux Bash and Windows PowerShell - HashiCorp Terraform and Packer, AWS Cloud Formation and Azure ARM - GIT and/or Microsoft TFS - JSON and YAML • Understanding of security concepts related to cloud (firewall, proxy, key management, IAM, certificate management) Preferred Skills: • Experience with both infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and Development (Python, Java, or similar) • Working knowledge of either Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure • Knowledge of IBM Cloud and Google Cloud Platform • Understanding of configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible or SaltStack • Multiple technology disciplines such as networking, storage and distributed computing • Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban • Agile systems development techniques utilizing Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) and DevOps • Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure certifications Education and/or Experience Required: • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math or related field of study and a minimum of six years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures and operating systems.  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures and operating systems may be accepted.  • This position requires online pre-employment testing for external candidates.     Consultant Details:     Full Name as per Passport   Current Location (City, State & Zip Code)   Relocation (Y/N)   Phone Number   Email Id   LinkedIn Id   Date of Birth (MM/DD)   SSN last 4 Digits   Highest Education & Year of Passing   Visa Status (Attach Visa Copy)   Validity   Interview - Slots for next 2 days   W2 or C2C   Total Years of Experience   Skype ID   Currently on Project (Yes / No)   Availability   Rate       Arun Reddy IT Recruiter (W) 312-985-0412 22260 Haggerty Rd, Suite # 285,Northville, MI 48167. www.rsrit.com
