Data Analyst, Utility Domain
This position requires experience with data analysis and reporting tasks, and will work within a cross-functional team of outreach, technical, and operations personnel to support recurring reporting deliverables, analysis of data.
Tools/Technologies:
• Teradata V14/v15. Bi-temporal.
• SQL/Bteq/Store Procedures/TPT
• Informatica Power Center v10+, Pushdown, ELT
• AWS – good to have
Technical Skills:
• Write SQL procedures/scripts/functions etc. to Transform data
• Design and develop ETL mappings to transform & achieve business data requirements
• Good understanding of ELT and Pushdown concepts. Working with EDW Database MPP appliances
• Data Analysis to help business understand issues, resolutions, potential future state
• Perform routine data maintenance activities to ensure data integrity
• Collaborate with IT team to improve database systems and architecture
• Implement and document best practices in reporting and data maintenance activities
• Ability to resolve production data issues, problems with ETL process, workflow
• Utility Domain Knowledge is Plus
Basic Qualifications and Professional Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Data Analytics
• 4-5 years’ experience with data ETL/analysis and/or reporting
• Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good skills in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a collaborative attitude
• Timeliness and strong work ethic
