Job Description and Capabilities. Daily Responsibilities: - · Build scheduled, release and on-demand for large sized projects (>100k likes of code base)
- · Manage and enforce sanity check testbenches.
- · Manage failed builds to roll back and rapidly identify and fix the offending check-in.
- · Manage incremental vs. complete source rebuild decisions.
- · Provide ready-made code branches on demand and for product version and release management.
- · Marshall and minimize individual personal desktop builds by streamlining the standard process.
- · Manage Artifactory structure to enable customers (internal and external) to receive official released builds.
- · Manage Artifactory structure to enable internal use of trial, experimental, feature-branch etc. build streams.
- · Manage Artifactory to store tools, libraries, compilers, test structures etc. related to branches and releases.
- · Provide guidance and create documentation for how-to, policy and product-specific processes and artifacts.
- · Manage infrastructure of hosting of the tools and artifacts.
Capabilities: - · Capable to discover and interoperate among the diverse tools and environments currently in place at Harman.
- · Recommend and implement improvements to the existing environment to streamline and enforce common practice.
- · Knowledgeable on the following languages:
- C/C++ - Python - Java/JavaScript - HTLM/PHP - make - bash/c shell - CMake - · Knowledgeable on the following tool sets:
